Our client in Rockwall is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is a Permanent position scheduled to last for 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the billing process, show attention to detail with accurate and efficient work which will align with the organization

 Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Rockwall, Texas
Pay Range: $19 to $22
Schedule : Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on sales orders, shipping documents, and customer agreements.
• Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies before invoice submission.
• Collaborate with Sales, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to ensure complete billing information.
• Submit invoices electronically or manually in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized billing records in the ERP system.
• Respond promptly to internal and external billing inquiries.
• Support month-end closing through reconciliation and reporting.
• Assist with credit memos, adjustments, and re-billing.
• Monitor open billing items and follow up on missing documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.
• 2+ years of billing or general accounting experience (distribution/manufacturing preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, or similar is a plus).
• A team-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn.
