Join to apply for the Aircraft Mechanic role at U.S. Air Force Reserve As an Aircraft Fuel Systems specialist, you’ll inspect, repair, and install our fuel systems to ensure errors are minimal and don’t occur during flight. You’ll perform comprehensive checks on fuel cells and external and integral fuel tanks so that our aircrew can properly operate and efficiently carry out their objectives. Primary Responsibilities Remove, repair, inspect, install, and modify aircraft fuel systems. Clean fuel cells and tanks and inspect for foreign objects, corrosion, and cell deterioration. Learn about internal hardware, sealing techniques, and materials. Interpret technical concepts and applications of maintenance directives.
