We are actively sourcing for an Aircraft Mechanic III, which would be classified as our Site Supervisor. This contract is to support our Navy and Fleet Readiness Center Reserve Mid-West (FRCMW) detachments by performing Intermediate-Level (I-Level) Maintenance on T56-A-16 engines and modules. Join a dedicated team ensuring safe, flyable aircraft through expert-level inspections, repairs, and logistics support.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled I-Level maintenance on T56-A-16 series engines and modules, including PSA, RGA, T/M, and TUCA.
\n
• Conduct complete teardown and build-up of engines and engine modules.
\n
• Support 700-hour Minor Depot Inspections (MDI).
\n
• Perform corrosion control, troubleshooting, inspections, cowling structural repair, and preservation/de-preservation.
\n
• Document maintenance activities through electronic and manual logs and records.
\n
• Comply with all applicable technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 series programs.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n
• \n Minimum 5 years specialized experience in C/KC-130T T56 Series repair and airframe depot artisan-level work.
\n
• ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
\n
• Proven experience in:\n
  \n
  • Engine and module-level maintenance, teardown, and rebuild.
  \n
  • Structural, pneudraulic, and general aircraft systems troubleshooting.
  \n
  • Using technical manuals and bulletins for aircraft engine repair.
  \n
  \n
\n
• Must hold (or obtain upon hire) qualifications/licenses including:\n
  \n
  • Overhead Crane Operator Qualification
  \n
  • CDI/CDQAR (Collateral Duty Inspector/Quality Assurance Rep) for Power Plants
  \n
  • Forklift and Crane Operation Licenses
  \n
  • Support Equipment Licenses
  \n
  \n
\n

Preferred Experience:

\n
• QEC (Quick Engine Change) assembly repair
\n
• Experience with the following Navy maintenance programs:\n
  \n
  • Tool Control
  \n
  • Corrosion Control
  \n
  • Fuel Surveillance
  \n
  • Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention
  \n
  • Oil Analysis (NOAP), Hazardous Material Management
  \n
  \n
