Biomedical Field Service Engineer

Location: Various Regions in Wisconsin

Salary: $70,000-$100,000

A healthcare technology service provider is seeking a Biomedical Field Service Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of clinical equipment used in patient care environments. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates who enjoy field work, are technically skilled, and value strong customer relationships.

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting medical equipment in healthcare facilities. You'll collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure the safe and compliant performance of systems critical to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and service patient care devices and diagnostic equipment
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Complete accurate service documentation using maintenance systems
• Provide basic user training and technical support to clinical staff
• Coordinate part orders and third-party support as needed
• Adhere to all safety and compliance procedures
• Participate in rotating on-call duties

Required Skills & Experience:

• Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
• Previous experience with servicing medical or imaging equipment preferred
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in clinical environments
• Flexibility to travel within assigned territory

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Standing, bending, and working in clinical settings
• Follow all applicable health and safety protocols
