Job Description

We are a reputable and busy masonry contractor seeking dedicated Masonry Laborers to join our dynamic team. As a Masonry Laborer, you will play a crucial role in our projects by operating and maintaining various machines, loading and unloading heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors and skilled tradesmen. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, reliable, and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load and unload construction materials.
• Assemble and disassemble temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth as needed.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist craft workers.
• Participate in on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site clean-up and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
• Capability to work in all weather conditions.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is a plus.
