Clinical Social Worker, Needham at Boston Children's Hospital summary:

The Clinical Social Worker at Boston Children’s Hospital Needham provides comprehensive clinical social work services including psychosocial assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and facilitate access to hospital and community resources. The role requires LICSW licensure, a Master’s in Social Work, and experience in medical and child protection settings.

Position Summary/Department Summary:
We are seeking a 40- hour generalist social worker that will provide a range of clinical social work services and case management in our soon to open Needham satellite of Boston Children’s Hospital (free parking!)

Key Responsibilities:

• Psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community services
• Acting as a resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Master’s degree in social work.

Experience:

• Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in a medical environment and with child protection issues preferred
• Diverse candidates strongly encouraged to apply

Licensure/Qualifications:

• LICSW licensure in the state of MA is required

Schedule is 8:30-5pm
This position is 100% onsite
