As a  Cloud Infrastructure Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based systems that support national priorities. This position requires a  full scope polygraph and is located in Lorton, Virginia, 22079.

Your Role: Building Secure Cloud Infrastructure

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing Cloud Architecture : Plan and implement cloud infrastructure that ensures scalability, performance, and security, aligning with federal regulations and standards.
  • Deployment and Migration : Lead the deployment of cloud services and migrate on-premises applications to the cloud, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Security and Compliance : Ensure cloud systems adhere to strict government security standards, including NIST and DoD frameworks.
  • Collaboration and Leadership : Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and provide technical leadership in cloud engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise : Proficiency in major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud infrastructure design and deployment.
  • Security Clearance : TS/SCI with active Full Scope Polygraph required.
  • Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Certifications : AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are highly desirable.
