Our client is looking to hire an experienced Corporate Commercial Law Clerk to join their team.

You will be a key member of the Corporate Commercial Group working closely with Corporate professionals and legal support staff to provide the highest level of service to clients, while having the opportunity to cultivate your skills as part of a dynamic and successful team. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Support the Firm's lawyers and clients with complex corporate transactions
• Prepare and draft various corporate documents relating to incorporations, continuations, amalgamations, dissolutions and corporate reorganizations
• Manage effectively and efficiently numerous transactions and/or projects under time-sensitive deadlines
• Work in a digital environment maintaining electronic minute books and records
• Be responsible for providing senior level support and experience on corporate matters
• Work with high profile clients nationally and internationally

Core Skills & Competencies:

• Paralegal or Law Clerk Diploma, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Corporate Law Clerk
• Solid knowledge of corporate provincial and Canadian legislation
• Knowledge of tax reorganizations and/or not for profit entities an asset
• Strong work ethic; continuous improvement mindset and a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
