Rarecarat.com powers over $100m in annual sales by creating transparency in a historically opaque industry using AI indicators and human expert advice. Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist  

We’re seeking a detail-oriented  Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist to support our international shipping operations with a strong focus on  U.S. customs clearance, documentation accuracy , and  duty drawback processing . You’ll work closely with brokers, freight partners, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods across borders.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and submit import/export documentation, ensuring timely customs clearance
• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and supporting documents for compliance
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve any shipment issues
• Manage and maintain accurate records for drawback claims and compliance audits
• Monitor and track the customs status of international shipments
• Stay updated on U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations and requirements
• Support internal teams with documentation-related inquiries and shipment status updates

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in customs, international shipping, or trade compliance
• Working knowledge of commercial invoice requirements and U.S. duty drawback
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes and U.S. import regulations
• Detail-focused with strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Experience with ACE or other customs filing platforms is a plus
• Must be able to work standard  U.S.-based business hours
