*Meadow Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center*, *a Family-owned Skilled Nursing Facility*, located in Waltham, MA is seeking an
*Director of Admissions - FULL TIME - *to join our team.
*Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse *
*Experience in Short Term Rehab preferred.*
Monday thru Friday - basic schedule is 8:30 am - 5 pm.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in an Admissions position in Short and Long Term Care
- Knowledge of Medicare and 3rd party billing.
- Experience completing the admission process using point click care
We will train to learn admissions referral platforms.
This unique and highly rewarding position is a collaborative vision of our leadership team to reduce stress for the new resident and increase time spent caring for their specific needs during the admission process.
We expect the LPN/ RN admissions director to develop and demonstrate a system to effectively complete the new patient/resident admission process, from the first greeting of the resident/patient as they are escorted by the EMT's through our door to their comfortable settlement for the night in their room.
We encourage the nurse leader to bring all feedback to leadership team to collaboratively identify inefficiencies that may interrupt the resident's comfort during the admission process.
The LPN / RN admission director can expect our leadership team to uphold and practice with a professional attitude that includes:
- to listen earnestly to all concerns presented by all our coworkers in a timely manner
-to uphold professionalism and respect in resolving issues in a timely manner with all our co-workers.
-to encourage and promote ideas with follow through of newly developed processes to address barriers to excellent patient care.
