About us

Ocean Psychiatry provides the highest standard of mental and emotional health care to adults and children in and around Fremont, California. The experienced medical providers can address various disorders that affect an individuals quality of life.

The Ocean Psychiatry therapists design treatment options for conditions like anxiety and depression. They are also highly skilled in helping people learn how to cope with the symptoms like insomnia that can develop due to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder.

The providers use a variety of therapeutic techniques to address mental health conditions. They offer psychotherapy and medications, as well as innovative treatments like transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to stabilize mental health.

We are looking for candidates interested in growing with us as a full-time, in Medical Assisting.

Under supervision, this position is responsible for providing confidential administrative and clerical support to Mental Health staff. These duties include but are not limited to: being responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support staff members, doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Skills will include:
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
Candidate must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and grow with the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 per hour
