BODYBAR Pilates is a growing fitness boutique franchise that teaches pilates using the BODYBAR method across the United States. Job Summary
The BODYBAR Instructor is directly supervised by our Lead Instructor. The successful candidate possesses a friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills. As a member of the BODYBAR team, this person will have a passion fitness and for serving others and will ensure a positive fitness experience for all BODYBAR members. We are hiring for McKinney, but also opening our Allen location later this year. This is a great opportunity to work at a studio with multiple locations and opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBARs method, mission, vision, and goals
• Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class
• Design and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for all fitness levels
• Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form
• Respond to client questions regarding special movement considerations, studio policies, and promotions
• Instructors are responsible for securing subs for all their classes when needed.

Qualifications

• A passion for health, fitness, and exercise
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of basic anatomy
• Prior Pilates Instruction highly preferred
• Complete the Comprehensive (or Bridge) BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test-out

Preference will be given to those with existing Pilates certification, but it is not required. Hourly pay range is based on qualified, experienced applicants.
