Job Title: Golang Developer
Contract role
Hybrid in Denver, CO (2 days onsite)
$55/hr on W2
Job Summary:
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based systems and microservices, primarily supporting large-scale Kubernetes environments. The contractor will focus on migration and integration tasks within the cloud DVR system, requiring development skills in Go or Java, along with expertise in cloud infrastructure and networking.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and support cloud platforms and microservice architectures in Kubernetes
• Migrate legacy cloud video recordings and related data to new systems
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to deployment, performance, and operations
• Implement monitoring solutions and automate deployment processes using configuration management tools
• Collaborate with QA and software engineers to ensure continuous delivery of critical systems
• Participate in technical interviews including coding exercises focused on algorithms or problem-solving
Qualifications
Core Skills (Must-Haves):
• Kubernetes
• Golang or Java development
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS or OpenStack)
• Deployment automation (Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Open source tools and systems management
• Source control (Git/Github)
• Networking and system deployment at scale
Foundational Skills (Expected):
• Cloud systems understanding and network architecture
• Software troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Data management and automation practices
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration
• Virtualization and cloud provisioning experience
• Scripting and automation in shell, Python, or similar
Soft Skills:
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building with technical teams
• Analytical problem-solving skills
Experience Requirements:
• 6+ years of related technical experience
Education:
