At Elara Caring, we’re looking for a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who’s ready to bring strength, dignity, and compassion into the homes of patients across Southwest Michigan. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll be on the front lines of comfort and care, offering hands-on support and emotional presence to patients and families. Your work ensures that patients can spend their final days at home, surrounded by peace and familiarity. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, mobility support, toileting, etc.); Perform light clinical tasks: monitor vital signs, catheter care, assist with wound dressing; Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the care team; Travel within your assigned region to visit patients in their homes; Build trust and provide emotional support to patients and families; Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety/infection control protocols. What You Bring: High School Diploma or GED; Completion of a certified CNA or Hospice Aide training program; At least 1 year of relevant experience in hospice, long-term care, or home health; Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; Willingness to travel throughout the territory (approx. 50%).
