Overview:

As a Hospital Biomedical Equipment Technician working remotely with hospital clients, your role involves diagnosing and fixing surgical medical equipment, including installation assistance for intricate mechanical and electronic systems.

• Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on STERIS and other manufacturers' equipment.
• Manage schedules independently to tackle preventative maintenance, service calls, and equipment installations efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and escalate issues, ensuring compliance and document troubleshooting efforts accurately.
• Communicate pricing and repair solutions effectively to customers while building strong relationships to enhance customer experiences and business opportunities.
• Travel within your assigned region to provide support based on service agreements.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in a mechanical or technical field. An Associate’s degree, technical certifications, or relevant military training could substitute for some experience requirements.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet standard background checks and physical assessments for vendor credentialing.
• Proficient in customer service, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office and mobile app navigation.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including potential overnight and early/late hours.
