IP Copyright & Trademark Associate – Am Law 50 Firm About the Position: Our client, a top international Am Law firm, has an active need for an intellectual property attorney (2-5 yrs) to join its cutting-edge practice as an associate in Chicago. This firm is a true leader in IP law, having received a first-tier ranking for the categories of IP Litigation, Patent Law and Litigation, Copyright Law, Trademark Law, Technology Law, and Information Technology Law every year for over a decade (including 2025) in the “Best Law Firms” report by U.S. News. Responsibilities:

• Counsel clients on the clearance, registration, licensing, policing, and enforcement of copyrights
• Advise clients on selecting, building, protecting, enforcing, and monetizing their brands and trademark portfolios
• Represent a variety of clients in trademark and copyright litigation matters
• Stay current on changing trademark laws and processes worldwide, including issues affecting brands and their value such as tax, licensing, advertising, brand valuation, and social media

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience with trademark, copyright, and internet law
• Experience with U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution, clearance, and enforcement
• Experience with TTAB litigation and online brand enforcement matters (including UDRP proceedings)
• Large law firm experience is preferred
• Top academic credentials
