Litigation Associate – Diverse Practice Areas | Manhattan, NY | $140K–$160K

🏛️ Responsibilities:

• Defend clients in employment law, professional liability, commercial litigation, and securities arbitrations, litigating in New York state and federal courts, including FINRA proceedings.
• Draft sophisticated pleadings, such as motions to dismiss and arbitration briefs, to secure favorable outcomes in cases valued at $500K–$5M, per 2024 regulations.
• Conduct depositions and witness interviews, crafting targeted strategies to uncover evidence in disputes like wrongful termination or malpractice claims.
• Manage complex discovery, including e-discovery and privilege reviews, ensuring compliance with federal and state court deadlines.
• Advise clients on litigation risks and settlement strategies, fostering long-term relationships to support business development.
• Mentor junior associates, guiding their case preparation to strengthen the firm’s diverse practice areas.
