Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Projects Plumber to oversee and execute multiple commercial plumbing projects from start to finish under the direction of the department manager. This role is ideal for a skilled plumber who thrives on leading teams, organizing complex work, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

As a Lead Projects Plumber, youll work closely with the department manager to exceed client expectations by taking ownership of coordinating crews, managing timelines, communicating with clients, and ensuring quality workmanship across all aspects of retrofit projects. Through the department managers oversight, you will help lead a team of 3-4 plumbers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety protocols, especially within sensitive healthcare and commercial environments.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest quality.
• Lead and supervise plumbing crews on multiple projects, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate schedules, materials, and manpower to ensure efficient project completion.
• Communicate professionally with clients, general contractors, and internal project managers to review progress, address issues, and ensure satisfaction.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; plan daily and weekly activities accordingly.
• Oversee installation, retrofit, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial facilities (including water, drain, and medical gas systems).
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, safety protocols, and ISS quality standards.
• Mentor and train plumbing apprentices and journeymen to build a strong, capable team.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Project Management, Estimating, Warehouse, etc.) to drive project success.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of commercial plumbing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and medical plumbing systems, retrofit projects, and relevant codes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client-relation skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid plumbing license (as applicable) and clean driving record.
