Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Fundraising Specialist to lead strategic marketing initiatives and build relationships that advance both client work and organizational goals. This role combines marketing, fundraising, communications, and social media marketing to increase visibility, foster engagement, and support fundraising efforts across diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities Donor Engagement & Stewardship Stand up and establish our fundraising efforts, by cultivating and managing relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors. Identify and research prospective donors; create strategies for engagement and solicitation. Develop donor communications, including thank-you letters, impact reports, and updates. Maintain accurate donor records and oversee the donor database (e.g., Salesforce, DonorPerfect). Fundraising Campaigns & Appeals Plan and execute annual giving campaigns, major donor outreach, and online fundraising initiatives. Write and design fundraising materials including appeals, email campaigns, and social media content. Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to meet fundraising goals. Events & Community Engagement Plan, coordinate, and manage fundraising events such as galas, community fundraisers, peer-to-peer campaigns, and donor receptions. Collaborate with volunteers and board members to expand outreach and event success. Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and donor meetings. Marketing and Social Media Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities. Familiarity with photography and videography for use in social graphics and content. Design graphics experience. Produce and edit video content for events and social media usage Create and curate content for our digital sites and social media platforms. Design branded physical memorabilia. Assist with proofreading or editing other content before publishing. Perform background research as needed. Review live content monthly and create reports outlining success rates. Stay abreast of current marketing and social media trends to share with internal stakeholders Create and send CSC newsletters and maintain contact database Create and support CSCs marketing calendar and social media calendars Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field; or higher degree in relevant field 3+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development and marketing Proven track record in donor cultivation, fundraising campaigns, and/or grant writing. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with donor management systems and digital fundraising tools; social media management/marketing and managing all digital channels Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while collaborative across the organization Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to ethical fundraising and marketing practices. Experience working with multicultural communities is highly valued. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual or multi-lingual people encouraged to apply.
