School Principal, Homeroom Teacher, STEM/MATH teacher, Secretary, Hifz Teacher Position Type: Full Time Start Date: 2025-05-05 We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Elementary-Middle School Principal to lead our Independent Islamic School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Islamic education and committed to fostering academic excellence while nurturing staff and students’ social-emotional growth. The School Principal is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the school while maintaining satisfactory standing according to the **National Policy Board of Educational Administration (ISLLC Standards). Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities :

  • Oversee day-to-day school operations, manage school logistics and budgets, and allocate resources to enhance educational programs .
  • Provide Islamic educational and administrative leadership to the school.
  • Establish and promote high standards for academic performance and Islamic values.
  • Collect, share, and analyze data to determine the school’s strengths and needs. Data will include student data, other instructional data, student subgroup data, discipline data, and attendance data.
  • Oversee the administration of all academic standardized tests and follow up as necessary concerning those results and their analysis.
  • Manage school operations, including instructional programs, extracurricular activities, discipline systems, and those related to the student/staff handbook.
  • Develop and manage an annual budget in cooperation with the Board of Education.
  • Supervise and evaluate teaching staff, ensuring the use of effective instructional strategies.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and provide feedback for teachers, support staff, and students, focusing on instructional and behavioral strategies to improve and/or enhance students’ performance.
  • Develop teacher and staff capacity to cultivate and sustain meaningful partnerships with families of diverse backgrounds and with community members that support student achievement and student well-being.
  • Develop and implement the school’s curriculum in line with Islamic principles and academic state standards.
  • Collaborate with the school board and community stakeholders to advance the school’s mission.
  • Lead safety team meetings, establishing safety protocols and regular safety system checks.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of staff morale by displaying a genuine feeling of trust and respect for each member.
  • Research and remain aware of current education trends as they affect the school, and plan and prepare the school to change and adapt effectively as needed.
  • Lead or foster teacher team meetings.
  • Hire, support, and manage the evaluation process for academic faculty, including content area teachers and administrators.
  • Initiate, support, and lead the accreditation process.
Qualifications :
  • Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership, Educational Administration
  • School Administrative experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching.
  • At least two years of demonstrated successful leadership, curriculum, finance, teacher mentorship, coaching, or personnel management at any school level, Elementary through High School.
  • Strong understanding of Islamic education and values.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and school finances.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coach, manage, and collaborate with staff from a diverse range of perspectives and backgrounds.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, families, and the community.
  • Develop leadership across all levels of the school.
  • Possess legal authorization to work in the US.
