THE BIG PICTURE

Northwest Community Church ( ) seeks a full-time Senior Pastor to preach God's Word and equip believers for ministry. We desire a man who models a strong walk with Christ, has a clear calling to pastoral ministry, and will lead our congregation in lifting up Jesus and loving each other. The candidate should possess strong pulpit skills in exegetical and expository preaching, communicating the Bible clearly and practically. Primary responsibilities include providing spiritual leadership through preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and visitation (see full job description for details). A bachelor’s degree or higher from a Bible college or seminary is required, with at least five years of experience as a lead pastor preferred. Who We Are Affiliated with the Berean Fellowship of Churches, Northwest Community Church was founded in 1988 with a passion for reaching northwest Lancaster County (Nebraska) and surrounding areas with the Gospel and making disciples through biblical instruction. Our staff includes a part-time Executive Pastor, a full-time Youth Pastor, and a secretary. Nearly 90 families call NCC home, with just under 100 members and an average Sunday attendance of 155, with nearly 100 attending Sunday school weekly. NCC is known for serving children and youth, with Wednesday after-school children’s ministry averaging 130 students and youth ministry reaching over 80 students weekly. We have active women’s and men’s ministries and several growth groups. NCC supports eight missionary families sharing God's truth globally and domestically. Where We Are The village of Malcolm, about 10 miles northwest of Lincoln, NE, has a population of 480. Surrounded by farms and lakes, Malcolm is a bedroom community for Lincoln, with most residents commuting for work.
