Title: Sr. Quality Engineer

Responsible Manager: SVP Operations

Location: Pflugerville, TX

(Hybrid)

We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for you to support our Quality Team in Pflugerville, TX . The Sr. Quality Engineer for North America will be responsible for developing and implementing required quality processes and procedures with the operating and technical staff. This position will serve as the key focal point for our customers, suppliers, and global corporate entity for quality management issues. The Sr. Quality Engineer will lead the effort to maintain ISO certification at all North American locations.

Your Mission

  • Develop and validate quality processes and procedures in conjunction with operations and production staff including defining product specifications and training employees
  • Maintain and improve product quality by completing quality audits on products, suppliers, company processes and quality systems
  • Collaborating with other members of management to develop new product specifications and manufacturing and training methods
  • Responsible to integrate quality functions into new or existing business functions
  • Act as the key contact for customers’ auditors and be responsible for ensuring execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers’ specifications
  • Support establishment of reasonable standards of service for customers
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Willingness to manage a small team
  • Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality certifications at all North American locations
  • Perform internal audits to assess company compliance and readiness for external audits
  • Work with department managers and subject matter experts to create, update and maintain ISO work instructions
  • Assess local suppliers’ product specifications and quality plans
  • Develop and implement supplier quality performance criteria and monitoring systems.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards
  • Work with German parent company to ensure product quality issues are reported and resolved through the CAQ quality system

Your Talents

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in quality management systems and processes
  • Experience leading ISO 9001 certification and audits
  • Computer skills – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Quality management systems
  • Additive manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Practical experience in quality and measurement techniques
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional and service-oriented attitude
