WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST I
DFWRC WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
(DFWRCDivision of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation and
Conservation)
NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT POLSON, MT

The successful applicant is required to have a Bachelor of
Science degree in the field of Wildlife Biology, Wildlife
Management, or closely related field; including coursework in
forest and range management and one (1) year of professional work experience in wildlife management, ecology, habitat
restoration and/or research. Must reflect demonstrated abilities
to work unsupervised in field situations. Ability to operate
motor vehicles, including boats, nets, traps, 4x4 vehicles,
all-terrain vehicles and communications equipment; and ability
to perform physical labor such as planting, handling captive
animals, and lifting. Must complete the course entitled, The
Foundations of Wildlife Chemical Capture. Must possess a valid
drivers license. All applicants are required to submit a Tribal
Employment Application (Resumes may be submitted but may
not replace or supplement the official Tribal Employment
Application), copy of relevant academic transcripts and/or
certifications, copy of valid drivers license, if applicable, please
submit proof of Enrollment in a Federally recognized Tribe, if other than CSKT, and if claiming Veterans preference, a copy
of DD214 must be submitted. This position is not a testing
designated position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT
Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already
employed by CSKT, must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve
a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL OF THE INFORMATION ABOVE WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION DURING THE SCREENING PROCESS. Salary range $26.74 to $30.73 per hour (Including Benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement, Long-term
