Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and creative 3D Visual Artist to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing compelling, photorealistic architectural renderings and visualizations that effectively communicate design intent for client presentations, marketing materials, and design development. You will work closely with our architects and designers to bring complex designs to life through high-quality 3D imagery. This position is located full-time at our Costa Mesa studio, Monday through Friday. We find that working together in person is essential for the rapid exchange of ideas and the close collaboration that defines our process and contributes to our award-winning designs. Therefore, remote work options are not available for this role. Key Responsibilities: Translate architectural designs (from CAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) into sophisticated 3D models. Create high-quality, photorealistic renderings of exterior and interior spaces. Apply textures, materials, lighting, and entourage realistically and artistically. Collaborate with project teams to understand design goals and ensure visualizations align with the project vision. Manage rendering workflow efficiently to meet project deadlines. Maintain and organize the library of visualization assets. Stay current with the latest visualization techniques, software, and industry trends. Create virtual tours and short animations Post-production editing in Photoshop Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a 3D Visual Artist or Architectural Visualizer, preferably within an architectural practice or visualization studio. [3+ years’ experience preferred] A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional ability in creating photorealistic architectural renderings (both interior and exterior). (Portfolio submission is required) Proficiency in industry-standard software, including: 3D Modeling: [e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino - Specify what you use] Rendering Engines: [e.g., V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Lumion, Enscape - Specify your primary engine(s)] Post-Production: Adobe Photoshop Strong understanding of architectural concepts, scale, proportion, materiality, and lighting principles. Excellent eye for detail, composition, and color. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and sketches. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Optional: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, 3D Visualization, or a related field - equivalent experience is acceptable Preferred Qualifications: Experience visualizing high-end residential or similar architecture. Skills in animation, video editing (e.g., After Effects), or virtual reality (VR) experiences. Traditional art or photography background. Why Join Brandon Architects?
