About the Role

FreshDirect is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Merchandising Team this summer for a paid internship.

Responsibilities

• Support visual merchandising initiatives including recipe development and content creation
• Analysis of pricing actions and other promotional activities
• Work closely with Operations to track and fix pressing challenges
• Support health and sustainability initiatives including product traceability, food waste, and packaging projects

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a BA/BS with a demonstrated interest in the food industry, merchandising, or eCommerce
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
• A willingness to think creatively and take calculated risks
• An ability to adapt to new systems and scenarios quickly
• Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture

Pay range and compensation package

The expected compensation for this role is $23.00 –$ 25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
